Liberal MLC Rob Lucas today released a detailed analysis of companies, individuals and unions who gave a record $4.9 million to Mr. Rann’s Labor Party in the 2005/2006 election year.
Whilst the biggest listed donor was the mysterious ALP Holdings Pty Ltd, at $1.6 million, the biggest companies, individuals and unions are as follows:

“As the list shows in some cases, donations were made using up to four separate vehicles. Company searches and website searches have so far been unable to establish the origins of a number of companies listed on the Labor Party disclosure return,” Mr. Lucas said.
“It is also interesting to note that there is no reference in the disclosure return to Mr. Rann’s Party’s fundraising arm – SA Progressive Business – which is chaired by former ALP Senator Mr. Nick Bolkus.
“In the interests of transparency, Mr. Rann must now reveal which companies and individuals have made contributions to the mysterious ALP Holdings Pty Ltd and SA Progressive Business.”
