The Marshall Liberal Government has successfully settled another enterprise agreement, this time with approximately 1,300 TAFE educators.
A majority (88.3 per cent) of those who participated in the ballot – which closed tonight after more than a week – voted in favour of the new 3-year enterprise agreement, which delivers 4 x 1.5 per cent per salary increases.
There is also a one-off payment of $1,000 for eligible employees.
Treasurer Rob Lucas welcomed the successful resolution of the TAFE SA Educational Staff Enterprise Agreement, after two years of negotiations.
“We are delighted that our TAFE educators have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Government’s enterprise offer, which delivers reasonable salary increases over the life of the three-year agreement,” said Treasurer Lucas.
“The Government recognises the important work of our TAFE educators in equipping it students with the necessary skills and qualifications they’ll need to pursue exciting and worthwhile careers.”
The Marshall Government has now settled enterprise agreements with thousands of public sector workers, including:
- SA Health Salaried Medical Officers
