Mike Rann today confirmed that the Labor Party’s factional divisions were deepening only days from the State Election.
“When asked whether he would serve his full term as Opposition Leader if Labor loses Saturday’s election, Mr Rann told journalists “that’s to be determined by the Labor Party”.
“Factional moves are getting stronger and senior Labor Party sources have confirmed that Mr Rann won’t be safe as leader if Labor loses Saturday’s election.
“Mr Rann and the Labor Party are tired and have run out of fresh ideas for South Australia.
“South Australians have stopped listening to Mr Rann and the Labor Party after eight long years of broken promises and spin.
“Perhaps this is why most South Australians no longer trust Mr Rann and the Labor Party to lead our state into the future.”
