Another Cabinet document leak designed to undermine embattled Premier Weatherill has questioned the costings for the Weatherill Labor Government’s Drill Core Reference Library.
Today Mr Weatherill announced a $32 million minerals core library for the Tonsley site.
However, a Cabinet document leaked to the State Liberals questions the costings for this proposal, stating:
Just yesterday, another Cabinet leak revealed a further blowout in State debt of $212 million in 2017-18.
“It is clear that division and disunity is rife in Labor’s ranks, with continued leaks designed to damage Mr Weatherill’s embattled leadership,” said Liberal spokesman Rob Lucas.
“South Australians continue to see Mr Weatherill’s leadership destabilised on a frequent basis.
“Given the confidentiality of some of these documents they could only have come from senior ministers or senior ministerial staffers.
“Mr Weatherill is losing control of his divided Government, which has become dysfunctional and out of touch with South Australians.
“South Australians deserve a Government with better priorities to put our State back on track.”
